Jazmine Lily Heath
Founder
Jazmine Lily Heath is a highly experienced professional artist, songwriter, producer, composer, musician and businesswoman from the UK. She was only a young child when it was discovered that she had an extremely high vocal range and an impressive musical ear. With the support from her family, Jazmine jumped headfirst into the music world and it's been a non-stop ride ever since.
Founder at Company 23 Creative, Jazmine has a bachelor of arts honours degree in Popular Music from the University of Gloucestershire and has spent over a decade developing, recording and performing in the music industry. With two self-written and produced albums and a string of successful singles & collaborations under her belt, Heath is an intimate knowledge-bearer of all aspects of the commercial music industry.
She was given a bursary for classical singing at the age of eight, allowing her to attend vocal lessons to the highest standards, tests, and competitions throughout the next decade.
Heath was a member of bands such as Yindigo, Ruby Tuesdays, and Resonate during her youth on the Isle of Wight, and she has performed on stages such as The West Ends Palladium and Her Majestys Theatre, Cowes Week Main Stage, Big Top at Isle of Wight Festival, and Main Stage Bestival as part of Fat Boy Slim's supporting choir.
As a young solo artist, performed regularly, published her first songs 'My Spirit's Free' and 'Freedom,' performed at major festivals, and appeared on television series such as CBBC's Friday Download and Comic Relief Does Glee Club.
She studied Commercial Music at Platform One College of Music on the Isle of Wight, where she routinely performed and recorded music while studying in-depth knowledge of songwriting, publishing, legislation, and other essential music industry areas.
In her spare time, she taught singing to one-on-one students and volunteered as a teaching assistant at Fusion Arts Academy.
After spending most of her youth learning and performing music, she relocated to Cheltenham in 2015 intending to pursue music on a wider scale, broadening her view of the music business, and obtaining a degree by the end of three years.
She had countless incredible, life-changing experiences and opportunities during her time at university, from learning music production, live sound engineering (2000 Trees & Wychwood), creating film scores, working for & collaborating with many talented bands & artists, to performing in Prague and a headline show in Berlin. She also self-produced the tracks 'My Little Island,' 'Seasons,' and her EP 'AWAKE.'
Soon after graduating, she took a risk and relocated to Tokyo, Japan, which has the world's second-largest music business. It was here that she released four singles in preparation for her first full-length album, 'World Of My Own,' which was published on December 23rd, 2019 and sparked an impressive flurry of positive reviews and press releases!
She subsequently founded her record label for electronic music and went on to release singles, collaborations, and albums under a new title in a range of music genres.
Heath worked for three years as a singing & music technology instructor, online session musician/composer, and DIY musician coach in the Japanese music business. It was here that she found her deep passion and delight for teaching youngsters music. She realised the value of having inspiring instructors and teaching music to children at a young age after working so closely with them. She realised at that point that she wanted to create her school, complete with its own unique curriculum and learning technique, inspired by all she had learned as a student and then as a teacher in Japan. As she returned home to the United Kingdom, she founded Company 23 Creative.
